The ballots are in, a decision has been made- my husband and I are moving to Portland in October! We are very excited for this new move and to have a place to call home. For the past year we have been traveling and staying with family. From Los Angeles to Fiji, New Zealand, Bali, Europe, Iceland, New York, Chicago and Seattle. We had thought that staying in Seattle would be the right thing for us but the universe had other plans and we are grateful for them. Portland is a great city full of friendly people, loads of restaurants and yoga on every corner. I am sure I will find new studios to call home and new teachers to practice with.
With my time left in Seattle I will be teaching and practicing in as many places as I can- I just signed up for Tami Hafzalla's Yoga and Ayurveda workshop at Samadhi on September 24th. If you have been looking for a workshop to help you transition into Fall this could be the one! Tami teaches these workhsops 4 times a year (1 for each season). You can check out Tami's info at
www.bhakti-flow.com. Ayurveda is a sister science to yoga, it offers teachings on diet, lifestyle and how to practice depending on what you need- it is profound and beautiful, I highly recommend checking it out.
Please mark your calendars for Sunday, September 25th at 6pm! I will be teaching a FREE class at the downtown North Face store to help launch their new yoga clothing line. It is going to be super fun.
