5 days at sea- no phone, no email, just family, the water, amazing food and scenery that left me breathless. Desolation Sound is North of the Canadian Gulf Islands, across the Straight of Georgia- completely removed and absolutely amazing. We spent our days swimming, fishing, clamming, shrimping, snorkeling, sunning, kayaking, doing yoga on the rocky beach, did I mention swimming? I must have been in the water 4 hours a day- it was wonderful.
In total- we brought 5 (!!!) cameras with us- I guess you could say we went a bit overboard (ha, no pun intended) but it was well worth it. Here is a very small selection of them.
