Hello Everyone,
I am going to be teaching a workshop at Goda Yoga (www.godayoga.com) on May 10th at 6:30pm to benefit the "A Window Between Worlds" program- this is an amazing organization, here is their mission statement and you can learn more about them online by going to www.awbw.org:
A Window Between Worlds (AWBW) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to using art to help end domestic violence. Through creative expression, battered women and children gain a sense of renewal and power. Their images of hope, survival and strength educate the public and become "a window between worlds" for survivors taking steps to change their lives.
The workshop will be a 'feel good flow class'- giving us all a chance to move and appreciate our bodies and all they can do for us, everyone is welcome, regardless of prior yoga experience.
Suggested donation is $15, you can also bring new, unopened art supplies for them to use in their workshops that they take to the shelters. If you cannot make the workshop but would still like to make a donation you can donate to them online or send me a check and I will give it to them after the workshop.
