Winter Newsletter

Winter Newsletter

Hello  Friends and Yogis!

Thinking of you all this holiday season.  It is Summertime here and everyone is lighting up the BBQ and planning outdoor Christmas celebrations.  I'm still not quite used to the change in seasons but it is lovely.  As you move into the hustle and bustle of the holidays be sure to take a little time for yourself, even just pausing for a few deep breaths throughout the day can help keep the mind calm and the body relaxed.  Although this can be the hardest time of year to keep a practice going it can also be the most rewarding.  Remember to take care of yourself to gain the energy needed to get through all the lovely holiday parties and gatherings.

Things are quite different than they were when you received the Fall Newsletter.  I am currently living and teaching yoga in Wellington New Zealand and will be here at least until the middle of January but not really sure yet where I'll be headed next.  I've been traveling with my husband since the end of October, spent a week in Fiji, followed by about a month of travelling around Auckland and the northern part of New Zealand before settling down here for a little while.  Our next step will be heading to the South Island of New Zealand before moving on, possibly to somewhere in Asia and Europe before heading back to the states and landing in Seattle.

If feels like such a long time ago but I want to thank everyone who make it to the "Yoga and Wine" afternoon workshop.  It was a great success and will become a monthly event once our travels are over.  An invitational email will be sent once the next one is scheduled, probably sometime in the Spring.
