Fall Newsletter
Hello Friends and Yogis!
Fall is in the air and with it comes changes of all kinds. As many of you know this will be my final month teaching in Los Angeles before moving on to new adventures, please come to a class and say goodbye before I leave, you will all be missed.

As the seasons change so do our practices. Take some time in the next few weeks to notice how your practice feels different than it did in the Summer months. Fall is great time to get grounded and centered, a natural time to turn inward and listen- standing poses and forward folds can help facilitate that. Give the body a little extra time in each pose to build heat and space, in the Summer time our bodies are naturally a little more open and flexible, as the weather cools it may take more time to build the internal heat. Take a little extra time in seated meditation this time of year, the mind naturally begins to draw inward and while meditation is never 'easy' it can feel a bit more natural to sit and enjoy the quiet.
For those of you in Seattle, I will be teaching throughout the month of October, dates and times will be posted on my website and I will be hosting a "Yoga and Wine" afternoon on October 23th (see below). An invitation will be sent out in the next few weeks.
