Ashtanga Journal, week 2

Oh my, yesterday back on the mat felt so great!! I had not been to Ashtanga since the previous Wednesday (I have been doing Mondays and Wednesdays and Monday was cancelled because it was a moon day). Starting next week I am upping the practice to 3 days a week. It seems to be the only class I leave where my hamstring does not hurt (I tore it a few months ago). Plus, whatever is going on before class, I feel great after practice. It is so nice to feel like a beginner again, to be a student, my mind feels just as challenged as my body. I feel this is a practice I can stick with for a long time.
