No Wednesday class in Juanita this week, classes will resume next week (June 22)
A (very) short teaching schedule week this week as I'm headed to Mexico for the wedding of a good friend. Next week I'll be back to a regular schedule with some new classes beginning so stay tuned.
The image above is from an Acro Yoga video I discovered this week (thanks Julie)- it looks like so much fun! I can't wait to get out there and take a class or 2! Seems there is Acro Yoga all over the city of Seattle. If you have a moment watch the whole video do it, it is so graceful and beautiful!
I'm feeling myself being pulled in lots of different directions right now. This city has so many different kinds of yoga to offer from Yin to Vinyasa to Yoga Nidra, Acro Yoga and some great Iyengar and Ashtanga teachers- its been really hard for me to stick to just 1 style. While my roots will always be in the Mysore room, it is where I started my practice oh so many years ago and where I always seem to be drawn back to- I think it is healthy (and important) to know about and experience different styles and different teachers. I want to thank each and every teacher I've had the pleasure of working with. I learn so much not only about my practice but about teaching each time I walk into someone's asana room.
