Sunday: 6:30pm, Yoga Tree, Fremont, Restoratives
THIS SUNDAY!!! I am thrilled to announce that I will be teaching a weekly restoratives class at the Yoga Tree in Fremont. Restoratives are a quiet and peaceful way to transition from your weekend back into your week. They calm the nervous system and offer deep, deep, relaxation. Plus they feel great!
"Through restorative poses you come into harmony with your body's natural rhythms. Living by these rhythms is the key to good health."
-Judith Lasater
A HUGE thanks to everyone who made it the Yoga Tree and to Yogalife for class, what a treat to see you all! I hope to begin subbing more at these studios soon and at other studios and I look forward to seeing all of you on the mat again soon.
I've just finished a book that took me about 8 months to get through. It is called "A Year to Live" and was written by Stephen Levine. There are guided meditations and essays, all with an eye on living this year as if were your last. The book is meant to be a guide to exploration, to find ways to let go of those things in our lives that are causing us suffering and to let go of them NOW, not 50 years from now. One word of caution: this book might cause you to sell everything you own and go traveling for 6 months!
